BLIZZARD of 2010

So, we made it through The BLIZZARD of 2010 with a total of 22" of snow!  We were lucky and only lost power for a couple of hours Friday night.  There are still 65,000 homes without power as I type this.  I CANNOT imagine how they are dealing with that.  The Federal Government is closed tomorrow as well as most school districts in the area.  Our road is pretty clear but there are several cars(including my own) that still need to be dug out.  I wonder if the monkeys will have school on Tuesday...if not I really wouldn't mind.  I'm not a morning person and hate getting them off to school in the morning.  If I had more patience and were more organized I would home school my monkeys.  Also, Tuesday is Joey's 8th birthday and I think it would be neat for him to have his birthday off from school!  One gift Joey may be getting for his birthday is MORE SNOW!  Yes, that's right...we have more snow in our forecast for Tuesday night. WOW!  I don't think we have room for more snow!  The monkeys may miss this whole week of school if we do get more snow on Tuesday.  Again, I wouldn't mind them missing more school...I really do like having them at home.

Okay, time for some pictures!

The Blizzard of 2010 begins!

Our source of light during the power outage Friday night.

You can see the sand table and now you can't...

Julia and Joey feel asleep during the power outage...aren't they cute?!

Joey LOVES the snow...see how deep it is?

Sweetie loves the snow too!

Josh on the snow plow mountain...and then falling INTO it!  HAHA!

Julia decided to join in on the snow fun even though she's not a fan of being cold.

Jillian checkin' everything out(snow was too deep for her) and feeling the snow...do you see her hand print?

Here are some random snow pics I like:

After all of that SNO-FUN it was time for some hot cocoa!
